What stays on your device

Your skin diary, progress photos, skin analysis, mood check-ins, rewards and profile are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to us or anyone else.

If you connect Apple Health, the app reads sleep, water, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, steps, mindful minutes and (only if you choose) cycle data. This is read on your device, never sent to a server, never used for advertising or marketing, and never shared. The app writes only mindful minutes from breathing sessions.

Fern, the in-app assistant, runs on your device using Apple's on-device model.

What is shared, and only when you choose

• Sign in with Apple: your name and email are kept on your device to personalise the app.
• Checkout: when you pay for products, vouchers or memberships, your email and basket are sent to Stripe to process payment.
• Clinic check-in: if you tap Share at the clinic, your diary and photos go directly from your phone to the clinic iPad over a local connection.
• Invites: the contact picker gives the app only the contacts you choose, to pre-fill a message you send yourself.
• Clinic news: announcements are read from Apple iCloud. They contain no personal data.

Your rights

You can export or delete everything at any time in the app: Me → Export my data, or Me → Edit → Delete account and data. Deleting the app also removes all data from your device. Under UK GDPR you can contact the clinic about any data it holds.

Tracking

The app does not track you, show ads or use analytics.
